VyQChat is a real-time, text-based, serverless chat program dedicated to LANs. It is almost 100% compatible with Vypress Chat for Windows. It allows you to chat with friends on public or private channels, and send and receive messages etc. The GUI is user- friendly, and there is optional sound support.

Did vyqchat support qchat 1.6 protocol? I have lan were all uses subj. Maybee have some anothers port for qchat?

Hello. Check out vqcc-gtk, as it does support both quickChat & VypressChat protocols.
