 freshmeatGrinder 1.0
 by N/A - Thu, Dec 31st 1998 23:04 UTC

About: freshmeatGrinder is more than software and more than a mailing list. It's both. The program processes the freshmeat e-mail digests and reformats it moving more interesting entries to the top, and recently-repeated entries/entries without change descriptions to the bottom. This has been hooked up to a mailing list to save you the effort of setting it up yourself. Send a message with "subscribe" in the subject to "grinder-request@tummy.com" to subscribe.

Changes: Version 1.00 is the first public release. The code is ugly, but it does include routines for parsing the freshmeat digest into an internal data-structure, which is then used to generate the message.
