About: FastTemplate is a PHP3 class for managing template files and performing variable interpolation. It is a strict port of Jason Moore's Perl module CGI::FastTemplate. Its primary use is to separate HTML and PHP code, making your PHP code cleaner. Changes: Initial public release

About: The mgetty package contains an intelligent getty for allowing logins over a serial line (such as through a modem) and receiving incoming faxes. The companion program sendfax is used for sending faxes from the commandline or from other applications. The third main component is vgetty/vm which can be used with a voice-capable modem to implement an answering machine, a voice menu system, and similar things. Changes: Documentation updates, minor problem fixes, Zoom/NX autodetection added.
About: Gifsicle is a powerful command-line program for manipulating GIF image files. It has good support for transparency and colormap manipulation, simple image transformations (cropping, flipping), and creating, deconstructing, and editing GIF animations. It can also optimize GIF animations for space. Also included is a GIF animation viewer and a program that checks whether two GIFs look the same. Changes: This version adds a `--scale' option to complement `--resize'. Both resizing options now work flawlessly on animations (no off-by-one errors), and there are some other bugfixes too.

About: Timesheet.php is a Web-based application designed to keep track of the hours worked by multiple people on multiple projects. It allows users to log in and manage the times that they are clocked on or clocked off. It has many features, including user, client, project, and task management; a calendar view of work, grouped by project or all projects; monthly, weekly, or daily views of work; work periods spanning multiple days; automatic calculation of invoices; manual clock-on/clock-off maintenance; administrator views and reporting; timezone adjustment; a simple weekly timesheet entry mode; and LDAP support. Changes: Added an administrative view which offers a view of the hours worked and their corresponding projects.
About: tgif is a vector-based drawing tool, with the additional benefit of being sort of a web-browser. That is, you can fetch drawings from a web server with it, and you can make objects in your picture into hotlinks to other parts of the drawing, or to other drawings accessible via HTTP.
About: gnotepad+ is an easy-to-use, yet fairly feature-rich, simple HTML and text editor for UNIX-based systems running X11 and using GTK. gnotepad+ was designed to have as little bloat as possible, while still providing many of the common features found in a modern GUI-based text editor. Changes: This version adds a new HTML toolbar and menu options to insert commonly used HTML tags, make all toolbar icons slightly smaller and the usual grab-bag of bugfixes.
About: GQmpeg is a frontend to various audio players, featuring themes (skins), playlists, and many configuration options. Supported backends are mpg123, ogg123, xmp, and video4linux radio tuners. Changes: This new version includes various fixes, adds a few command line options to control another GQmpeg process, includes mixer control support for SPARC Ultra1 running Solaris 2.5.1 and preliminary shoutcast support as a netscape plugin.
About: Irssi is a modular, terminal-based IRC client with Perl scripting. Changes: Works with GTK 1.0.6, connect+disconnect dialogs, and some user interface changes.
About: This game is a port of GLHeretic to Linux. It is also the first usable port of DOS-Heretic to Linux which runs under X11, GGI, SDL, and SVGAlib. Sound and Music work, and two sorts of net games (UDP and IPX) are implemented. The game runs on Linux/x86, Linux/m68k, Linux/Alpha, FreeBSD, Netwinder, SCO-Unix, and other UNIX machines. Changes: Version 0.9.1.1 works with SVGAlib now, improved use of GGIlib, keyboard fixes and simple FPS in GGI and X11 version.
About: Install-Sendmail will configure Sendmail and Fetchmail on your machine. This Perl script can be used to setup a mail server for a simple network or it can configure email on a dial up machine. All you need to know is your email address, login name and password and optionally, the IP addresses of your network. Changes: This version doesn't work with the very latest Sendmail (8.9.2) but will work on RedHat 5.1 and 5.2 systems with the Sendmail RPM that came with the distribution. (Sendmail 8.8.7 or so) The next release will include support for Sendmail 8.9.2.
About: Xtacy is a graphics hack for X11. Xtacy will display bouncing shapes, rotating palettes, a couple fractals, a kaleidascope, and lots of more stuff in its own window, or in the root window of the display. There are cycling palette modes, static modes, and animated modes. Changes: Version 1.14 adds the beginnings of support for 16-bit and 24-bit bit displays (although 8-bit PseudoColor is the best supported still). It also adds 9 more modes, including "-blob" and "-tag". Palette files of RGB-triples are now supported as well.
About: The Flight Gear Flight Simulator project is a free, open-source, multi-platform, cooperative flight sim development project. Source code for the entire project is available and licensed under the GPL. The Flight Gear project is working to create a sophisticated flight simulator framework for the development and pursuit of interesting flight simulator ideas. We are developing a good basic sim that can be expanded and improved upon by anyone interested in contributing. Changes: Version 0.57 incorporates a massive amount of changes. About: nsListen turns a click on a shoutcast or icecast server link into a playing, streaming mp3. It was written for Netscape (but can probably be adapted to other browsers) and defaults to using mpg123 to play the stream (edit a single line in the perl script to use xmms instead). Changes: Now supports icecast server links.
