About: Batalla Naval is a multiplayer networked BattleShip game. It supports multiple players and robots at the same time. Clients are available for GNOME, GTK, XView, ncurses, and Win16. Servers are available for GNOME and ncurses. It has support for GGZ Gaming Zone and IPv6. Changes: IPv6 support, bugfixes, changes in the networking code, bugfixes.
About: asp2php converts WWW Active Server Pages (ASP) files that run on the Microsoft IIS Web Server into PHP pages to run on Apache. Changes: This version has some MySQL database support. There is an example set of ASP pages which used Microsoft Access that were converted to PHP and successfully connect to a MySQL database. Many bug fixes were also added to this version.
About: With mod_roaming you can use your Apache webserver as a Netscape Roaming Access server. This allows you to store you Netscape Communicator 4.5 preferences, bookmarks, address books, cookies etc. on the server so that you can use (and update) the same settings from any Netscape Communicator 4.5 that can access the server. Changes: This is the first stable release, and also features a work-around for the IMAP filter problem.
About: GNUJSP is a free implementation of Sun's JavaServer Pages. Once the GNUJSP servlet is correctly installed, files with the extension .jsp are translated into java source files, compiled, and executed. Changes: This is maintenance release. The compiler command line is now printed and the docs have been cleaned up. Please see the file CHANGES for details.
About: The GAA Argument Analyser helps programmers to analyze the arguments given to their program from the command line or from a configuration file. You will only have to write a text file in GAA language, and GAA will provide you .c and .h files to manage arguments. Changes: GAA now permits you to get arguments from a configuration file. Multi argument options enabled.
About: Bras is a rules-based command execution system, ala 'make'. It includes a powerful rules system supporting foreign directory triggers, multiple rule types, and on-the-fly dependency generation. It is written in Tcl and uses Tcl as its script language. Changes: Initial release.
About: XawTV is a simple Xaw-based TV program which uses the bttv driver or video4linux. It also contains various command-line utilities for grabbing images and AVI movies, tuning in TV stations, etc. Changes: driver updates/bugfixes only: in sync with bttv 0.6.2, 2.0.x compile problems fixed, pre7+ showstopper in msp3400 module fixed.
About: Flwm is an X window manager designed to be user friendly and use the absolute minimum amount of screen real estate. It has no icons, using a pop-up menu to select hidden or new windows, and sideways titlebars. Flwm is also designed to achieve Gnome, KDE, and Motif compatibility simultaneously and has also been tested with many SGI programs that normally require 4DWM. Changes: Reads ~/.wmx to provide commands for the menu that can run arbitrary programs, support for resizes of GL applications on SGI's, window behaviour updates.
About: LinPopUp is a GTK port of Winpopup, running over Samba. It permits communication with a Windows-running computer that runs Winpopup, sending or receiving messages. Please note that LinPopUp is not only a port, as it includes several enhanced features like it doesn't need to run permanently, full message base management, can be run minimized, full message editor capabilities, clipboard cut&paste, documentation, etc. Changes: Fixed broken compatibility with GTK+ 1.0.x
About: gEDA is a suite of electronic design automation (EDA) tools. Currently, the project offers a mature suite of free software applications for electronics design, including schematic capture, attribute management, bill of materials (BOM) generation, netlisting into over 20 netlist formats, analog and digital simulation, and printed circuit board (PCB) layout. Changes: This release adds support for gtk+ 1.1.x, portrait and color postscript printing, improved scripting capabilites, and the usual bug fixes.
About: RockBot is a fully functional multi-channel "bot" for IRC. It has hundreds of usefull commands for managing channels, amusing your friends, and protecting ownership. It is a good alternitive to an eggdrop type bot. Changes: Added password security, secure/insecure host tagging, updated help, CINFO command, as well as several bug fixes.
About: Q2Java is a game DLL for Quake2 that allows game code to be written in Java instead of C. It currently runs on Win32, Solaris, and Linux platforms. It takes advantange of many Java features including security, cross-platform binary compatibility, internationalization, dynamic classloading, just to name a few things. Changes: This version fixes a few minor bugs, improves support for multithreaded Java game code, and adds a few tweaks and a makefile to support compiling with Kaffe under Linux.
