About: GSokoban is a puzzle game invented in Japan 1982 by Hiroyuki Imabayashi. The goal is to push a number of boxes to special spots in a maze, without getting stuck against walls or in corners. Changes: Bug fixes, new map set with 100 levels, new image set "pinky24", dynamic resizing of the map, much improved image loading and some other changes as well.
About: AlsaPlayer is a new PCM player written with the ALSA sound system in mind. It also includes support for JACK, OSS, NAS, and ESD. It makes extensive use of multi-threading and supports OGG, MP3, WAV, CDDA (CD Digital Audio), MOD, S3M, IT, and many other input types. Features include a real- time effects stream, variable speed/pitch control, SHOUTcast/icecast streaming support, multiple active visual scopes, command line mode, playlists, plugin architecture, low-latency mode, and more.
About: TiK is a pure TCL/Tk implementation of AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). It has most of the features the native Win32 and Mac clients have, plus some extras. It includes a graphical buddy list display, full font support, graphical emoticons, away messages, buddy pounce, buddy ticker, IM/Chat capturing, message broadcasting, a GUI preferences system, and much more. TiK's expandable nature allows the addition of new features through packages. Changes: Fixed some windowing issues, adding flashing windows, and a new Directory package.
About: KDbg is a graphical user interface to gdb, the GNU debugger. It provides an intuitive interface for setting breakpoints, inspecting variables, and stepping through code. Changes: Working directory of debugee can be set, gdb's executable can be specified (if non-standard), and the terminal for program output can be set.
About: X-Chat is a fully-featured graphical IRC client using the GTK toolkit. Optionally it can be compiled to use GNOME and Perl scripting. Changes: Includes Gettext language support, with translations for Norwegian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Czech and Swedish (new translations are welcome). Also has a fix for a particular mIRC color code, so if you are upgrading from 0.9.7, you should exit xchat, rm ~/.xchat/printevents.conf, and run xchat again.
About: Hybserv2 is a new and improved version of the now unsupported Hybserv, sporting new features, bugfixes, and more. It is specifically designed for Hybrid IRC servers, but may work with others as well. It includes OperServ, NickServ, ChanServ, MemoServ, StatServ, HelpServ, and Global. Each of the services can be enabled and disabled as necessary.
About: Basilisk II is a free, portable, Open Source 68k Mac emulator. It requires a copy of a 512K or 1MB Mac ROM and a copy of MacOS 7.x or 8.x to run.
About: Asmail is a "mail-checker" like xbiff, but with the Afterstep look & feel. It indicates the status of your mailbox. It can be put in the Wharf, execute program on incoming mail, execute program on mouseclick, show animations and more... Changes: IMAP support has been added.
About: libdatablk is a MOO-like type library for C. It is being developed for use in a MOO-like server, but may have other, useful applications. Basically it allows a variable to contain either a string, number or list (or one of several MOO-like values, errors, object references). Changes: Initial release. Lists don't work entirely yet (this is going to be fixed shortly) and there are several other errors. Most everything else works OK.
About: The Cacheability Engine will check a URL you feed it for several things that will affect a Web cache, including web server clock skew, expires and Cache-Control headers, Last-Modified date presence, validation of LM date, Content-Length presence and more. It makes it easy to see how a cache will treat your content. There are also public engines running, so you don't have to install the software to use it for Internet-available sites. Changes: Many bugfixes and tweaks; can now be used as a MSIE context-sensitive extension.
About: mpstat is intended to be a utility for Linux to monitor SMP machine's CPU statistics. It records %usr, %idl, major & minor faults, and number of interrupts that have occured. mpstat is similar to vmstat, and requires Linux kernel 2.2.9 or later. Changes: combined intr and ithr as the kernel does not distinguish between these. now interupts are shown as a 9 characher field not 4.
