PyLucid is a lightweight Content Management System written in Python using django. Nearly all output can be customized. A shell account is not required.

Recent releases


Changes: Many things have changed since the last release candidate. There are some backwards-incompatible changes since RC2.


Changes: Many bugfixes and detail improvements were made. Django rev 6626 and tinyMCE rev 300 are included. Note that there exists a fix for a security vulnerability discovered in Django's internationalization framework: http://www.djangoproject.com/weblog/2007/oct/26/security-fix/. The affected versions are revisions of the Django trunk prior to revision 6608.


Changes: Plugin administration has been implemented. This release has a better way to link the user password. settings.py has been updated. Many things related to JS-SHA login have been updated.


Changes: Inline editing with a template tag list and tinyTextile help page. Newly reimplemented: create a CMS page, delete pages, and "Select a page to edit it". Better _install section login. CMS page view cache. Better update routines.


Changes: The django branch is now a little bit usable, though not for production sites.
