AA-lib

AA-lib is a low level gfx library just as many other libraries are. The main difference is that AA-lib does not require graphics device. In fact, there is no graphical output possible. AA-lib replaces those old-fashioned output methods with a powerful ASCII art renderer. The API is designed to be similar to other graphics libraries.

Changes: This is a release candidate for AA-lib1.4. This one fixes a number of problems in Xdriver. The font is now fetched correctly, window dimensions are computed properly too, and the AAFont environment variable may be used to override the default font. Note that BB now requires the CVS version to compile because of some internal API changes. The Web pages were updated to contain gallery of ASCII art and tunning tips.

Window manager in AA-lib?
Wouldn't that be really cool? To have a window manager
in ASCII?
