Changes: This release uses the Leitner system for interval-spaced repetition, ensuring that difficult kanji are repeated often, while kanji you have mastered are only shown rarely. Some basic information about how many kanji have been learned is also displayed.

Changes: The Accha Nihongo quiz program now features "leveling" capabilities: after mastering a small group of kanji, you "level up" and are presented with a new group of kanji. When exiting the program, Accha Nihongo automatically remembers what level you were on, and allows you to continue from this point the next time you play. The kanji display has also been completely overhauled, and now includes dictionary definitions of the different readings, as well as radical/element information to aid memorization.

Changes: A single kanji is displayed and the user must type in a correct "on" or "kun" reading. The answer is typed in romaji, but displayed in hiragana, thus encouraging the use of hiragana. Kanji are grouped to facilitate learning, and wrong answers are repeated more often.
