acpi4asus is a Linux kernel module and user-space daemon that handles special keys, LEDs, and extra ACPI features found on Asus laptops. It has been reported to work on Asus A1X/D1/L1X/L2X/L3X/M2X/S1X, but other models should also be supported.

Changes: New default values are used to avoid errors. Support was added for A6J, A6R, A6B, A6K A6V, F3J, A3N, A3L, A3E, A3F, Z71V, Z71A, V6V, V6J, A8J, A6F, Z96F, W5F, and light_sens. The names of methods were changed.

Changes: This version sanitizes the /proc/acpi/asus/info output and add SFUN to be handled by userspace. The driver now reacts politely to acpi=off, and printk prefixes were corrected too. The kernel module size was reduced by 500 bytes. A long-standing typo that prevented reading WLED state was fixed. Support for L5830 (aka L5C) has been added. L2000E should work with this version.
