adamoto is an Application Deployment And MOnitoring TOol. It's a client/server based application for deploying software packages with a Web frontend. The Web frontend in conjunction with the server enables sysadmins to administrate and monitor the deployment of software packages on the computers in a network. It supports Linux RPM and Windows MSI files directly.

Changes: Some major errors have been fixed. This version was tested successfully for more than one year in a production environment and should be very stable.


Changes: Some bugs in the adamoto client have been fixed. They caused some problems with Windows clients.


Changes: This release comes with some major bugfixes. Problems with the initialisation of the SQL database have been solved.


Changes: Some bugfixes have been made in the soap interface, and adamoto comes with a pure Perl client now, so Java is not necessary on the clients. The pure Perl client is in an experimental state and should not used in production environments.


Changes: Adamoto now supports a SOAP interface, so the server can run as a Web service. Moreover, some minor bugs were fixed. Besides the tests with Windows and Linux, this version has been tested with BSD as well.
