admedit is a system configuration file editing tool which is similar to vipw in that it allows sysadmins to edit configuration files without clobbering changes made simultaneously by other sysadmins.

Changes: Bug with xemacs detection in configure.in fixed. ADMEDIT_NOX disables X display of X-capable editors.


Changes: Bugs in the configure script and code pertaining to default editor selection have been fixed. The usage message has been fixed to print out only options for editors with compiled-in support, and also to indicate what the default editor is.
