Changes: Packages have been updated, alterator has undergone significant changes, and a USB flash installer has been added.

No changes have been submitted for this release.

Changes: With the 4.0.2 release, Lite CD (with educational add-ons and a LiveCD) was added. It's an XFCE4 based distribution for old hardware that still works, if not with all of the latest features. It installs on 64M systems, but 128M or more is recommended.

Changes: Quite a few bugfixes in the installer and packages. The most outstanding are that fglrx no longer blocks NVIDIA/Intel 3D support, and there is no more "AMD Unsupported Hardware" overlay on ATI. 4.0 was sort of a "brown paper bag" release, while 4.0.1+ are for real.

Changes: This release is complementary to Server 4.0 and features a KDE-based desktop with primarily Russian and Ukrainian localizations, with English, Byelarussian, Tatar, and Kazakh specifically supported as well. It includes updated video drivers and multimedia codecs, which can be distributed according to copyright and license without supporting software patents.

It's web interface accessible via https://server.ip:8080/ with your root password.

There's also "elinks" text-mode web browser but I'd suggest installing links2 and using "links2 -g" in framebuffer if one needs local graphical configuration tool and not remote one.

BTW: I seem to be finally settled with Jimmac (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=6550) one. Very nice, too bad it wasn't noticed in time to make it into Compact.
