GNOME-Mud

GNOME-Mud (formerly AMCL) is a Multi-User Dungeon (MUD) client that aims to make mudding a bit easier. It can define aliases, triggers, variables, keyboard shortcuts, and has a connection wizard for easy management of different player characters and MUDs.

Changes: A segfault in the About dialog has been fixed. A longstanding double-free in the MCCP code which made gnome-mud freeze while playing on many MUDs has been fixed. Many improvements have been made to the automapper. NAWS support has been fixed. An RPM spec file has been added. The buggy behavior in the commandline history has been fixed. New translations have been added, and some have been updated.

Changes: Tabs are now only shown if there are more than two MUDs open. The connection status is shown in the tabs. A notification area icon was added to hide or show the main window. PyGTK support was fixed and the Python plugin API was enhanced. A HP monitor Python plugin was added. An old bug which occurred when closing gnome-mud from the window manager's close button was fixed. An application icon has been added. The text is now sent to the MUD in the charset of the user's locale. Many translations have been updated.

Changes: The plugin interface patch has been reverted, as it caused random segfaults. The intltool Perl module has been added to the distribution. The Portuguese translation has been updated.

Changes: A connect error on FreeBSD has been fixed. Segfaults in the connection wizard and logging code have been fixed. An alias will only be expanded if it is the first word in the input. Alias nesting has been removed. A check for badly installed gconf schemas was added. An option to flush logs more often was added. Plugins can now use outgoing data. Translations have been added and updated.
