Access Point Utilities for Unix

Access Point Utilities for Unix is a set of utilities that configure and monitor a Wireless Access Point under Unix. It is known to compile (with GCC and the IBM C compiler) and run under Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, MacOS X, AIX, and QNX.

Changes: A menu interface problem with long translated strings was fixed. The RPM spec was updated. Malay and Finnish translations were added. The Ukrainian translation was updated.

Changes: Fixes in showing RSSI, link quality, and client isolation status. Spelling and user interface fixes. Kinyarwanda and Vietnamese translations have been added, and the Ukrainian translation updated.

Changes: New utilities: ap-rrd, to store stats from AP into an RRD database; ap-auth, a command line utility to change the list of authorised MAC addresses; and ap-tftp, a TFTP client for upgrading ATMEL-based AP firmware. Now ap-config allows you to change OEM information stored within the AP. Enhanced functionality and many bugfixes for existing utilites. Documentation and translation updates. A Turkish translation has been added.

Changes: A huge number of bugs and bad assumptions were fixed in all of the utilities. New functionality was introduced for AP client-side RSSI statistics and AP link info, AP-side RSSI (and LQ if available) information, 802.1X (ATMEL12350 MIB with EZYNET ext.), RADIUS authentication (ATMEL410 MIB with SBRIDGES ext.), and AP MIB type autodetection for ap-mrtg, ap-auth, and ap-trapd. An ap-tftp utility for upgrading firmware and an ap-rrd utility for storing stats from an AP into an RRDtools database were included.
