Ariadne
Ariadne is a Web Application Framework and Content Management System built with PHP. It allows you to build complex Web applications and sites with ease. It takes care of the mundane stuff like internationalization, security, user management, templating, data retrieval and storage, caching, and site management. It stores content in a structured object store that can be accessed through an extensive filesystem-like API.

Changes: This is the last PHP 4 version. It has optional password expiry and SMB authentication. There is a new HTML editor that works with IE7 and 8 under Vista. Finally, there is a new style store interface (mod_ar).

Changes: SVN support for PINP templates. A completely new PINP compiler, which is more secure and also allows some PHP5 style coding, e.g. call('mytemplate')[0]. New modules: a caching RSS reader, HTML to PDF conversion, CSV parsing, and a JSON module. Improved library handling. call_super() allows calling overridden templates and loadLibrary() loads libraries on demand. Improved nls support for binary data in files and images. Fully integrated TinyMCE, so all browsers can now use full WYSIWYG.

Changes: New user defined subclasses and data wizards were added. A user defined typetree was added through the new typetree.ini template. Webdav support, pinp template libraries, WDDX import/export, multiple domains/URLs per site, and new XML and RSS modules werre added. SOAP support was improved. A lot of bugfixes were made.

Changes: A much more user-friendly user interface, scriptable workflow support, enhanced pinp templates with new modules like multi-part pages, SOAP, XML-RPC, PDF, a database connector and in-page editing, enhanced full-text searches, support for external user management using LDAP, Active Directory, or Novell NDS, experimental support for Oracle 10 and a configurable (Word) HTML cleaner, and much more.

I don't read the notes here very often, so you should use the mailing list, newsgroup or forum (http://news.muze.nl/). The problem could be any of several things, most likely is that you use Apache 2.0, in that case add 'AcceptPathInfo On' to the apache configuration.
Cannot Login.
I have installed all of the files and database tables for Ariadne. The application login screen shows up, but I cannot login, not with admin:muze, or with any admin password I set with the setadmin.php program. Has anybody encountered this bug before? If yes, please tell me what has to be corrected?
Ariadne looks impressive on the website. This little bug is a bit of a downer. Would be hard pressed to find another program with all these features (presuming it works properly).
