Asunder is a graphical audio CD ripper and encoder for Linux. You can use it to save tracks from an audio CD as WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC, and WavPack. It has CDDB support and can create M3U playlists. It's independent of any desktop environment. It can rip and encode at the same time. It aims to make CD ripping as quick and easy as possible.

Recent releases


Changes: The French and Norwegian (Bokmal) translations were updated.


Changes: This release adds a Portuguese translation, updates the Italian translation, and fixes a bug that would cause a crash on a repeated CDDB lookup.


Changes: Several crashes were fixed. CDDB lookups no longer take as long and don't fail when they shouldn't.
