Atari800 is an Atari 8-bit computer (400, 800, and XL and XE series) and Atari 5200 game system emulator for DOS, Windows, Amiga, Atari ST, Mac, and Linux/UNIX. It includes support for Atari cartridge ROMs, popular Atari disk images files, running Atari binaries directly from the host system, and accessing the host filesystem from within the emulated Atari.

Changes: Many changes were made.

Changes: Keyboard handling has been improved in SDL and X11 targets.


Changes: Security fixes were made for buffer overflows. Compilation errors with GCC 3.4 were fixed. ANTIC timing was fixd for the Timeslip game. The fileselector UI would crash if there were no files, and has been fixed. The Amiga port was updated.


Changes: The R: device can now be hooked to a real serial port (no runtime configuration yet). There are various ANTIC and POKEY fixes for perfect software compatibility. Disk and cartridge info is saved in the state files. Cassette handling is greatly improved. More cartridges are supported (40). Some rare buffer overflows have been fixed.
