Bambookit GUI
Bambookit GUI is a completely XML-scriptable user interface to build real-time interactive Web application front-ends. Applications occupy 100 Kb of device memory and run on any Java-enabled browser. Users can move windows, resize containers, scroll and sort tables, lists, trees, see real-time data display, use a layout manager, and more. All rendering and event handling is managed in the XML scripts.

Changes: Animation functionality has been added to Bambookit GUI. With the use of motion scripts to animate the location, size, images, and all other attribute widgets have now been added. The HTML encoding scheme has been added to the XML script parser. Other minor fixes have been made.

Changes: This release added the ability to pass values (instead of just the label of the widget) and contant key value name pairs (instead of retrieving the data from a widget first) directly to the server. XML loading optimizations were made for PDAs. Tree items now display item labels that are properly 'dot cropped' when the label length extends beyond the viewable region.

Changes: Variable referencing is now permitted within the XML scripts. Values can now be referenced by their widget name and placed directly within the script, without round tripping to the server. Polling can now Load XML documents, in addition to updates. The setData and addActionTarget attributes of the XML document no longer need to be URL-encoded.
