BBIagent is a single floppy Linux-based router for sharing a broadband Internet connection. It also serves as a firewall to prohibit intruders from accessing your LAN. You can create your own BBIagent router software (a diskette file image) on our server based on your hardware configuration (NICs) and connection protocol (e.g. PPPoE, PPTP, or DHCP). It is very easy to install and use.

Recent releases

Changes: This release updates to kernel 2.4.30, and current versions of iptables, dnsmasq, and busybox, reimplements the router admin UI in Swing, adds support for both uptream and downstream bandwidth control, and allows an HTTP proxy server to be downloaded on demand.

Changes: Parallel port or USB printers attaching to the router can now be shared by other computers on the network with LPR or RAW protocol.

Changes: Bandwidth control with HTB is now supported, and it is easy to define traffic classes and filters to shape traffic for computers on the internal network. The bandwidth control modules are loaded on demand from the server.

Changes: A bootable ISO image including user-defined settings can be created and downloaded from the router itself when using the registered version.

Changes: The Linux kernel on the boot image was upgraded to version 2.4.20. User-defined settings can now be saved to the diskette and restored automatically when the router is booted up.

I just setup BBIagent today for my home LAN. It is very easy to use, but still has lots of options (inbound port forwarding, limit clients outging access, and builtin DHCP server). Two thumbs up.
