bigloo-lib
bigloo-lib is a set of libraries for Bigloo, the Scheme programming language compiler. Most of the libraries are interfaces for various C libraries, such as the C runtime library, Gtk++, the LDAP client API, or the XML parser API. Other libraries are written entirely in pure Scheme, such as the HTTP library and the NODE library. The libraries are intended to make it easier to write programs in Bigloo scheme. bigloo-lib also provides a suitable framework to configure, compile, install, and deploy Bigloo libraries.

Changes: Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQLite backends have been implemented. More documentation has been written. Bigloo case sensitivity issues were resolved. The GNU DBM interface was introduced. The commandline package, including support for history, readline, and termios libraries. was introduced.

Changes: Dozens of minor fixes and improvements were made. The goal of these changes is to keep the package in sync with recent releases of Bigloo and interfaced systems, and to ease the configuration process. The CGEN application and the GTK subpackage were most significantly changed. Some new documentation was also added.

Changes: GD library support was added. Oracle support was added to the RDBMS library. A DL interface was added to the common library. The cgen utility was improved. Many minor improvements and bug fixes were made. This release has been tested on the HP platform.

Changes: GTK+ language mappings are in a useful state, completion of porting the original testgtk.c from gtk+-1.2.8 to bigloo Scheme (it also works with bigloo 2.2b), and more documentation.

Changes: This version has been ported to bigloo2.2a. SRFI-13 (string-lib) is partly supported. I18n was added via an interface to gettext. The GTK+ interface is almost operational now. Multiple OS bindings were added. More documentation was written.
