bitweaver is an advanced, object oriented, content management system (CMS) and Web application framework for PHP. It uses Smarty Templates and ADOdb to support many databases. Some main features of bitweaver include a modular package system, a low number of database queries, and a large amount of flexibility and customization options. bitweaver is based on TikiWiki.

Changes: Bugfixes and other improvements were made to improve stability and performance.


Changes: There have been major improvements made to the themes and language system as well as a lot of other general improvements to the code.


Changes: Fisheye, a new image gallery package, was added. Themes are getting cleaner and better. New quota systems for users and bandwidth were added. Gatekeeper is the start of some very nice access control lists that will apply to all content. A lot of general bugfixes were made. This release should be considered stable enough for a production environment. Some lesser used features may have bugs.


Changes: This release featured a massive permissions cleanup that removed 50% of page load queries. The groups admin UI, modules UI, and groups functionality were cleaned up. A CSS-driven drop-down menu based on suckerfish was implemented, but is currently only avalable for the top bar. No more schema changes are anticipated.
