Bonita is a lightweight BPM product that runs on the Standard (JSE) and Enterprise (JEE) Java platforms. Bonita provides an integrated graphical environment for BPM development and execution environments, and comprises three modules: a runtime, a runtime, and a designer. The runtime allows processes to be deployed, executed, and monitored through a rich API that provides BPM services. The console is a graphical Web-based interface. The designer is a BPM development environment that allows graphical definition of processes, as well as BPM connectors for integration with an existing system.

Changes: This version focuses on bugfixing and documentation updates. It also includes a preview implementation of one of the major features to come: BPM connectors.

Changes: Existing features available in 4.0 were consolidated and new important features such asynchronous activities execution or BPM instance cancel operation were added.

Changes: This maintenance version adds a great number of minor but important enhancements and bugfixes. The main focus of this release has been to solve the issues noted by the Bonita community since the release of 4.0.

Changes: This version adds minor features enhancements to the 4.0RC3 runtime and adds major improvements and new features to both Designer and Console applications. Some new examples (WebSale, Approval Workflow Web application, and Multi Instantiation of activities samples) have been added and synchronized with graphical tools (Designer and Console), allowing you to deploy and execute them via a Java application or through the Console. This version also includes improved documentation and a new Quick Start Guide.

Changes: This release adds a History API which allows retrieval of data from finished workflow instances. This API is currently parsing, gathering, and providing data from Bonita XML history files. A sample application leveraging HistoryAPI has been added to the Bonita_Simple_Project_Ever.zip package. This package can be downloaded in the Bonita forge. Please note that the default user/login is different for the Bonita engine and Platform versions, so don't forget to use the appropriate one for each version: admin/toto in the engine version, and bsoa/bsoa in the Platform one.

Yes, this works just fine, I apologize for the edge on the comment and realized the LGPL error just after submitting - alas no editing ones comments.

Let me say that the licence is LGPL rather than GPL. Regarding the information required to donwload the project, this is the default web page used by the LGPL project hosted in ObjectWeb, if you don't want to provide details about your organization and so, just set any value you want and submit.
