BootRip is a shell script used to automate the process of setting up the MBR to boot into Linux or Linux/Windows. It sets up a lilo.conf and runs lilo on the newly-installed machine.

Changes: A couple of bugs in the Windows search process were fixed.


Changes: A boot disk is not needed to setup the lilo.conf for the machine.


Changes: Searching for Windows partitions if you don't know where they are, and lots of code cleanups and corrections.


Changes: Support was added for root partitions that are outside of the 1024 limit of old versions of LILO. Some error checking was added, as well as graceful death if unrecoverable errors occur.
