Borges is an open-source project aimed at XML-aware documentation projects which care about internationalisation, reusable contents, teamwork, etc. The system currently supports the DocBook DTD.

Changes: Various bugfixes were made for image handling, the edit.noents.xml feature, and more. Inkscape is used for SVG transformations instead of convert. A new %.$(LANG).xmlvalidity target was added in manuals/%/ to record XML validity errors in the whole manual. A new xmlvalidity target was added in reports/ that gathers all above reports for all manuals in all languages. An xmlvalidity publish PUBTYPE was added for the above report.


Changes: Various improvements, minor features, and full support for a fully UTF-8 repository were added.


Changes: This version added an automatic migration script and added the ability to specify the XSL processor to use in conf/repository.xml (SAXON is required for autoidx-ng.xs).


Changes: Bugfixes were made to style sheet parameter handling. When HTML output references a CSS, it is copied from the drivers directory.


Changes: The notion of "pools" was added, allowing the distribution of a limited portion of the sources or the compilation of only specific documents in one command.
