Tournament Pool and Bracket Tracker

Tournament Pool and Bracket Tracker contains everything you need to run a tournament pool. It supports small groups or organizations who wish to provide an NCAA basketball tournament pool without a lot of administrative work in calculating up-to-date results and possibilities. Though it was built with the NCAA tournament in mind, it should be able to handle most other sport tournament pools. Once a tournament is underway, users can keep track of their progress as the administrator for a tournament updates the results of games. Pool adminstrators can choose from many different scoring systems.

Changes: This release adds 16 feature requests and changes the license to the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. Administrators can list, delete, or remove anything that can be created in the interface that isn't used elsewhere. Interface navigation was improved and cleaned up. A new tie breaker has been added, called the "Upset Prediction Delta". The system will also analyze any pool and add comments to indicate winners, the maximum rank a player can attain, who each player is rooting for, and who is out.

Changes: This release adds many new options for the tournament pool administrator. You can do tie breakers, not show the player's brackets to each other until the tournament starts, limit the number of brackets per player, and run a pool starting later in a tournament, such as starting at the Sweet 16. There is also a new interface for setting the start date and time of the tournament, sorting enhancements, the ability to edit pool settings, ranking the brackets of a running pool, and players may reset their passwords.

Changes: This release sorts the brackets in a pool so that the brackets with the most points show up on top. It also gives group administrators the ability to change a pool until there are brackets added to it. This will help them correct mistakes. Administration form based pages now put the focus on the first form element. This should make administration faster to do.

Changes: This is a bugfix release. It solves a number of issues that have been preventing the successful use of 0.4.0 in various environments. Specifically, this release reinstates support for JDK 1.4, fixes a database upgrade issue, and fixes a bug where non-admin users didn't see the right groups. Some user interface improvements are also included for the MyTournament page. This upgrade is recommended for all users, especially for the non-admin bugfix.
