cAos is a Linux distribution created by the community, for the community. The purpose is to provide a stable Linux solution for organizations and individuals that do not need or want to purchase their Linux solution. The kernel and almost every application that makes up a Linux distribution are free and supported by their respective development groups.

Changes: This is the second major release of cAos Linux, and it incorporates an entirely new build ideology and architecture, all new packages, an updated installer (cinch), and support for both x86 and x86_64. New packages include Linux kernel 2.6.11.6, gcc-3.4.3, Xorg, udev, Gnome, XFCE, Firefox, and Warewulf.


Changes: This release includes all fixes for the blocking bugs in the beta version.


Changes: This release adds a complete operating system rebuild, with Web interfaces for package maintainers into the cAos temple to manage their packages, and a preliminary QA engine.

You mirrored the full repository, as described in the above document. That document gives you some clues on how to exclude the branches that you don't want.
