The CE editor has one goal: to be very easy to use. It was originally developed by Charles Henrich in the early 1990s and was used by thousands of students at Michigan State University. Anybody can be comfortable using this program within minutes.

Changes: The documentation files have been reorganized. Tar distribution creation has been added to the Makefile. The old license has been changed to match the original author's preference for regular BSD.


Changes: Updates were made in the manpage. The default message was changed to mention that F1 is used for saving. The version variable was updated. A Solaris binary, named ce.solaris, is now included.
