Chrootbin is a tool which will help you make basic a chroot environment. It lets you skip the boring parts of making a chroot from scratch. It also helps you to install any other classic executables like strace or find.

Changes: This release includes a rewritten engine, update/overwrite support, and Ubuntu packages support (basically Debian). It fixes directory permissions and symlink detection/usage.


Changes: Problems with libraries symbolic link were fixed. Minor fixes were made. The option parsing code was switched to GetOpt.


Changes: This release adds support for RPM-based systems and Slackware packages. It has been tested on SuSE and Slackware.
