Changes: This release fixed a nasty bug where content was being removed if its inactive/active flag was changed. It also fixed errors that occurred when using the file manager, module auto-upgrading, problems with bullet menu, and much more.

Changes: A new module API was added. The install was improved. Lots of bugfixes were made. This also updates Smarty to 2.6.7, as previous versions have a security flaw in them.
