CourseForum

CourseForum is Web-based e-learning software that makes it easy for you and your students to interact, whether to create, post, share, or discuss course content. With just their Web browser, students use Courseforum to get answers to questions, dig deeper into issues, and work on projects at any time and from anywhere, not just when classes meet. It is powerful but easy to setup and use. Downloadable and hosted versions are available.

Changes: This version adds two new capabilities for creating and managing richer content in group forums. First, new formatting options make it easier to work with tabular information. Second, simple Web-based slideshow presentations can now be quickly created from forum pages. (This is based on the "S5" HTML slideshow software by Eric Meyer.) This release also contains other changes to time zones and archiving support.

Changes: This version makes custom branding and other look and feel changes even easier with an all new Web-based theme editor. Help pages have been reworked to make getting started even easier for new users, and all administration pages have been restructured for greater consistency. Explicit new support for category pages provides more options for organizing forums. A number of other improvements were made to RSS support and other areas.
