CUTE User-friendly Text Editor

CUTE is a text editor, based on Qt and Scintilla, which can be easily extended using Python. Its main purpose is to be a user-friendly source code editor with a common graphical user interface. It also supports tags and projects.

Changes: This release unloads the tags file when a project is closed. A "Use Monospaced Font" option has been added. Fortran syntax highlighting has been highlighted. The macro file type has been changed to XML, and a bug in macro saving has been fixed. Macros can now be run in another view as they were recorded. Many bugfixes have been made.

Changes: Improved status bar, which is divided into fields now. This release adds Python hooks (not used yet), Matlab, CSS and Assembler syntax highlighting, and the "wordCharacter" property to language configs. The shortcuts dialog now checks whether an edit shortcut has more than one key. This release checks whether a file has been changed externally and displays a message. Bugfix in side docklets: the context menu was hidden by the docklets menu. Bugfix in the "New File" command: doc number was unititialized. There is a bugfix in the shortcut dialog. QScintilla 1.3 is now used.

Changes: A new tags view was added to the message panel, which shows the context of found tags. The "find tag" command was added, which only finds tags without jumping to them. The "Handbook Path" option was added. Menu bar, tool bar, and command box view options were added in full screen mode. A bugfix was made in the options dialog to fix the inability to set the zoom level to a value less than 0. A prompt and a command history were added to shell view, and commands for switching focus to a specific view or current document were added.

Changes: QextMDI has been replaced with a custom MDI. There is a bugfix in unloading of the tags file when no tags file was found. Loaded projects are saved with sessions now. There is a bugfix in setting the current directory when loading a project. Bookmarks are saved with the session. "zoomLevel" and "defaultFont" options have been added. The "create project" command has been removed.

Changes: This version now stores cursor position, language, and zoom level of files. The window with the focus and tag files is also stored in projects. Project and editing commands sections were added to the handbook. There was a bugfix for a problem when editing shortcuts.
