CvsKnit is a toolset to automate knitting up CVS repositories from existing source packages. This may be useful to start revision management with old releases included in the same repository, and to automate external released packages into a CVS repository.

Recent releases


Changes: A new command, ck_reel, automates extracting archives, which makes knitwork settings more simple. The sample definitions were updated: CVS, Canna, STLport, etc.


Changes: This version corrects some minor fixes and includes some changes internally. It adds some command aliases.


Changes: A ck_update "--dir" option has been added which adds directories recursively. A ck_admin "--entries" optyion has been added which changes kopts in CVS/Entries. There are minor fixes and changes.


Changes: This release adds the wrapper "ck" to enable easier calls to cvsknit, separates the "yarn" command, and adds minor changes for auto knitting.


Changes: The code has been overhauled, especially the log message. Casting '-kkv' to all files within Attics and branches has been enabled.
