Changes: This release comes with an optimized implementation of LINQ (Language INtegrated Queries). Solution files for Visual Studio 2008 are provided along with the sources. The latest work on Transparent Activation (TA) and Transparent Persistence (TP) is included. Db4oTool was improved to make optimization for Native Queries and for TA/TP easier. Optimizations can also be called with msbuild.

Changes: This development release contains the basic architecture for Transparent Activation, a mechanism that only instantiates required objects from the database. It also includes all improvements that have been worked on throughout the last year: Tuned Embedded Client-Server, Cached IoAdapter, Batched Client-Server Messages, a new Freespace Manager, and completely revised exception handling.

Changes: This development build includes a new embedded Client/Server mechanism that comes with the same performance-and resource-consumption-characteristics as single user local mode. This build has undergone very heavy stress testing on multi-core machines and with large numbers of clients. The core code has been branched, and the 6.4 branch will be maintained to become 'production' and 'stable' quality.
