DbWrench is multi-vendor, multi-platform database design and synchronization software. Features include a syntax highlighting SQL query editor, support for many of today's most popular databases, a graphic entity relation diagram (ERD) designer, and the ability to forward and reverse engineer databases. Recent releases


Changes: This release did not focus on any one or two large items, but instead addressed several smaller outstanding items. These included improved font rendering on LCDs, improved SQL code generation, and bugfixes for PostgreSQL 8.3 support. There were several other improvements to usability and appearance, along with several significant bugfixes.


Changes: This release focuses on improving Unicode support and the appearance and usability of several panels. DbWrench now supports Central and Eastern European characters within the application itself and in the HTML database documentation it generates. The appearance and layout of several panels has been changed, with goal of improving usability.


Changes: In this release the primary focus was to upgrade to newer versions of the third party software used within DbWrench. DbWrench now uses upgraded JDBC drivers for PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server. The look and feel of the user interface for Mac and Linux users has also been upgraded. Phasing out support for older versions of DBMSs also began in this release. There were general bugfixes as well.


Changes: This release focused on improving functionality and fixing outstanding bugs. The visual layout and functionality of several input panels have been improved. Some issues with the navigator panel were resolved. Several bugs in Forward Engineer panel and Data Viewer panel were also addressed.


Changes: Diagram images now remain centered during zoom in and zoom out operations. An issue where focus and caret positions were not maintained during save operations by some text panels was fixed. Memory management has been improved.
