About:
DCC/Live is a Knoppix-based live CD that provides
a virtual Linux cluster infrastructure on a single
PC. One front-node and three virtual work-nodes
running on User Mode Linux are booted on system
startup. The queueing system and other
cluster-specific services are preconfigured and
work out-of-the box. This project is mainly
designed for education in parallel programming. A
simple tutorial on running your first MPI parallel
program on DCC/Live is included on the CD.
