DocMgr
DOCMGR is a document management system that incorporates automatic indexing of uploaded files, automatic OCR and content indexing of pictures, group-level permissions, LDAP authentication, email notifications, WebDAV, and a discussion board for stored files. Beyond its stock indexing subsystem, DocMGR also has the ability to incorporate Tsearch2 (a full-text indexing add-on for PostgreSQL) for a responsive, full-text file indexing system.

Changes: This release featured a new object/helper backend for easier development, background indexing to allow for quicker entry of files into the system, multiple file upload in the upload utility, the ability to monitor a collection for changes to its members, search speed enhancements, PostgreSQL 8.1 compatibility, an LDAP attribute mapping file, a WebDAV file structure reorganization and code cleanup, several security enhancements, and a module to allow the editing of a text file from within the system.
