dspspy is a sound recording utility for spyĆng. dspspy waits until a sound is detected and then it records it to a unique file. dspspy records sounds from the microphone to raw sound files. This can be used as a surveillance system.

Changes: The code was updated to work with newer g++ compilers. The sound card device file ("/dev/dsp") is now specified in the header file so that it may be changed easily.

I wish this did work, because it's a bloody marvelous idea. Unfortunately, when asked, the author didn't seem concerned about it at all. Maybe somebody else could rewrite it? Thanks...
