All releases tagged Major feature enhancements

Changes: This is a complete rewrite. The new system features improved checking code, faster lookup time from internal structures, regular expression support, better coupling with OpenSSL, and faster overall performance.

Changes: This is the first non-beta release. A configure script has been added. There are some fixes and enhancements to the 'inconsistency' reporting system. All notifications are sent to stderr, so using eics -c > /dev/null should show changes only. The output has changed, showing only that contents are changed instead of all the different hash methods. The config file is now signed with a DSA key as well, for security.

Changes: In this version, OpenSSL DSA signing of the database is used to allow use of eics in crontab without revealing your password. You can now use 'eics -c' without any password. Filesystem handling was also fixed.
