Ekiga is a SIP and H.323 compatible VoIP, IP Telephony, and VideoConferencing application that allows you to make audio and video calls to remote users with SIP or H.323 hardware and software. It supports all modern VoIP features for both SIP and H.323. Ekiga was formerly known as GnomeMeeting.

Changes: This release (and 3.2.2 and 3.2.3) fixes 2 issues: the call history was sometimes broken, and sometimes Ekiga crashed when replying to an incoming call.


Changes: This release fixes various crashes on shutdown, a crash when opening preferences or assistant, a crash when no account is present, and SIP registration. ekiga.net configuration has been migrated from 3.0 to 3.2. Window position is maintained on hiding/showing the main window. There are various fixes during configuration. An issue with having multiple registrations with the same SIP registrar has been fixed. There are fixes for the Windows port and many more changes.


Changes: Sound events are now played through the correct devices. A crash after missed calls was fixed. The assistant is no longer shown after an upgrade. Settings migration from Ekiga 2.0.x was added. Calls can be answered and rejected from the main window even if notifications are used. SUBSCRIBE requests for which the 200 OK has an expire time of 0 are not refreshed. Sending of ACK to incorrect addresses with some proxies was fixed. Forked CANCEL is ignored. An issue with registration to a non-standard port was fixed. A problem with timers if responses contain an incorrect Cseq was fixed along with a missing route set in dialogs when using an outbound proxy.


Changes: Several SIP compliances issues have been fixed. There are several graphical user interface fixes. The Win32 build has been improved, and various problems specific to that platform fixed.


Changes: Many improvements were made, including better video codecs with full SIP negotiation, accelerated full screen video output, a new user interface with a buddy list and presence indication for contacts, line monitoring with IPBX systems, hotplug support for devices and network interfaces, the ability to use the Ekiga engine in other projects, and more.

You can download OpenMCU on http://www.openh323.org and connect to the MCU to enable n-to-n videoconferencing.
