Elastix is a software appliance that integrates the best tools available for Asterisk-based PBXs into a single, easy-to-use interface. It also adds its own set of utilities and allows for the creation of third party modules. The goals of Elastix are reliability, modularity, and ease-of-use. It also features strong reporting capabilities.

Changes: The major change in this release is that it is based on CentOS 5.2 instead of 5.1. FreePBX has been upgraded to 2.5.1, and misdn updated to 1.18.


Changes: This release fixes several bugs from previous releases, makes the new spam module fully functional, adds a new graphical reports module to monitor extensions, and gives the endpoint configuration module support for more phones.


Changes: New RPMs for Mailman and Spamassassin are included. The Asterisk log module is finished. Multiple improvements in Roudcub: support for password changes, a fix for an attachments bug, and other minor bugfixes. Asterisk has been updated to 1.4.21.2 and Zaptel to 1.4.11. The compatibility problem between freepbx 2.4 and the Call Center has been fixed. Fixes and improvements to the Rhino RPM. Integration of the Agenda module with the Address Book. The bug in the Extension batch module that made the direct DID be saved as null has been fixed.


Changes: Roundcube has support for password changes, a fix for a bug with attachments, and other minor bugfixes. The RPMs for Asterisk, Zaptel, and Libpri have been updated. There are enhancements to Rhino's RPMs. The agenda module is now integrated with the address book, so you can send voice notifications to external numbers. There are bugfixes in the "Batch" module.


Changes: More than 130 RPMs were updated. The kernel and kernel-xen were updated. Zaptel, oslec, wanpipe, mISDN, and rhino drivers were updated.
