emelFM2

emelFM2 is the GTK+2 port of emelFM. emelFM2 is a file manager that implements the popular two-pane design. It features a simple GTK+2 interface, a flexible file typing scheme, and a built-in command line for executing commands without opening an xterm.

Feature Request: Keyboard shortcut for bookmark menu
Hi! I'd like to request a little feature: It would be nice to be able to add a keyboard shortcut to open the bookmarks menu on panel 1 and two. Eg. ALT+F1 opens bookmark menu on panel 1, and ALT+F2 opens bookmark menu on panel 2.

    th x in advance

Status line is already over-full, to the extent of sometimes garbled text when queued file operations are in progress. I'd recommend adding a keybinding which runs a suitable shell command, like stat -f ... (there's already a default user-command which does something like that)

emelFM2 doesn't know anything about desktop environment in which it operates. Maybe you could explore something like alltray http://alltray.sourceforge.net
