EMS MySQL Utils
EMS MySQL Utils are powerful data management utilities for MySQL server which make your work with the server much easier and faster. Currently, MySQL Utils includes MySQL Extract, a useful utility for extracting database metadata and table data, MySQL Export, a powerful tool for MySQL data export, and MySQL Import, a utility for quickly importing data to MySQL tables.

Changes: The "Extract Data from All Tables" option was added. This option can help you if you frequently change your database structure. The "Extract All Objects" option was added. Use it to extract the entire database structure without adding every object to the extraction template. Now you can extract all objects of the selected type. You can select the object types on third step of the wizard application. The ability to add extracted SQL scripts to a ZIP file was implemented. Now the program considers dependencies of foreign keys.

Changes: Now you can add notes and hyperlinks to the Excel documents you create. You can now make your data reports more attractive by adding charts based on exported data to the Excel documents you create. Styles on export to Word/RTF have been implemented. You can now assign different styles to the document header, footer, caption, and data areas. You can now use strip styles for data columns and rows on export to Word and RTF. Console applications now report about the export process. Some small improvements and bugfixes were made.

Changes: The import preparation process was speeded up by optimizing the order of queries to the server. A "Remember Password" option was added. Enabling this option will store a password for the last database connection. A bug with loading queries and scripts from files was fixed. Now the program correctly loads queries and scripts. MySQL Import now supports MySQL 4.1.1. A bug with saving login information for MySQL was fixed.

Changes: This version features exporting of queries in the wizard application, saving/loading configuration files for the whole wizard application, the ability to use the console application for exporting tables and query results from different databases, redesigned help files, and several minor improvements and small bugfixes.

Changes: Import speed has been significantly improved. Much less time is now needed to import large data files. The ability to save the temporary CSV file used for the Native Import Mode has been added. You can now save the resulting SQL import script that is executed on server to the *.sql file. You can now save the import log displayed after the import process to a file. The help files have been redesigned to make them much more convenient to use. Several improvements and bugfixes were made.
