ExtenDB Parallel Server Standard Edition
The ExtenDB Parallel Server is a clustered database solution for data warehousing and business intelligence. It leverages the PostgreSQL database running on PC-based commodity hardware, and intelligently coordinates work between them. This allows for the scaling out of databases to handle large data volumes quickly.

Changes: This small update fixes a couple of important bugs. A bug where not all results may have been returned was fixed. A bug with batches was fixed. The performance of INSERT SELECT was improved.

Changes: The improvements to this version include more flexible data loading options (better error handling, value generation for serial columns), expanded PostgreSQL support (LIMIT clause, TRUNCATE, TEXT, BIT and VARBIT types, BLOB improvements), improved transaction throughput for ETL workloads, better query planning, and other enhancements (cmdline buffering, round robin partitioning).

Changes: To improve integration with other applications, SQL reserved words were significantly reduced. Support has been added for BIGSERIAL, INT2, INT4, and INT8. There is increased performance for simple inserts into partitioned tables. The "connection ping" statement that checks the status of a connection is now configurable. Internal handling for leveraging PostgreSQL constraint exclusion partitioning has been improved. A bug has been fixed to allow indexes on subtables. A bug with check constraints has been fixed.
