FG Kicker! is an easy GUI frontend to launch the Flightgear simulator. Just pick your options, then click "Kick!" and you can roam the skies. It was developed with the GTK+2.0 specification.

Changes: This release adds a "controls" option and a "clouds3d" option. A bug that gave an error when no aircraft was selected during launch has been fixed. The code to launch the executable has been changed to the GTK method. More tooltip comments were added.


Changes: This release makes the airport list searchable. The interface now has tooltips. A settings page was added, which currently has the option to turn on or off the interface's tooltips. Some minor code cleanup has been done.


Changes: An "enable httpd host" option was added, which allows you to see and edit Flightgear settings using a Web browser. Some small fixes were made to the code for handling the aircraft list, and issues with correctly handling some options when saving settings were fixed.


Changes: The aircraft data file is now obsolete; the aircraft data is now fetched from the flightgear command line and parsed into fgkicker.


Changes: This version adds the options "Horizon Effect" and "Enhanced lighting" to the render options. The airport list has been fixed; the last character of the airport name was cut off.
