Floola is an application to efficiently manage your iPod or your Motorola mobile phone (any model supporting iTunes) under Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows. It can be run directly from your iPod and needs no installation. It supports all commonly used iPod features including photos, artwork, podcasts, and smart playlists. It automatically converts any incompatible audio or video file so that you can copy almost any file to it. It even allows adding YouTube and MySpace videos with a single click. It also makes it possible to keep your Google calendars synchronized.

Changes: The iPod notes manager was rewritten. iTunes 8.2 compatibility was added. The Portuguese, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, and Russian translations were updated. An ffmpeg installation issue under Windows was fixed.

Main listbox columns are resizable when browsing playlist content. An issue displaying small artwork on the iPod has been fixed. Improved iPod generation detection. 100% compatible with the iTunes artwork database. Faster artwork deletion.

Issues adding small artwork on iPod were fixed. On startup under Linux, it is checked that no other process that might interfere with Floola are running. There is improved iPod generation detection and overall improved stability.


Changes: Playback settings were not saved. The player now resumes the playback position when necessary. Artwork was not saved to files when selected to do so in preferences. An problem which occurred when changing the main listbox columns' visibility was fixed. An option was added that allows you to consider a track as played when 50% of it was played.
