Changes: This release is the successor of version 0.20.5, FOP's production grade version. It contains the new API first introduced in 0.92 beta; support for Open Type fonts; support for the rgb-icc() function and a proprietary cmyk() function; copy/paste from PDF content using embedded TrueType fonts; support for PDF/A-1b and PDF/X-3:2003; improved Java2D, print, and bitmap renderers; and automatic support for all Java2D fonts for TIFF, PNG, print, AWT rendering.

Changes: This release brings long-awaited features like keeps on all implemented FO elements, support for reference-orientation, better indent behavior, various improvements on inline elements like baseline-shift, improved leaders and image handling, improved borderpainting, and more. This release is the first after a big redesign effort on the whole FOP codebase. This release is to be considered ALPHA quality and it is intended as a preview release encouraging people to take a look at the new version and to provide feedback to the developers.
