The underlying transports are modular; only when the Paramiko SSH library is installed will SFTP support be enabled. Both FTP and SFTP transfer requests are allowed in the transfer queue. wxPython 2.6.3.3 or greater is now supported, and several other new features are included.

At least one good FTP client
I am always wondering about the lack of good FTP clients
for Linux. Either they are commercial (like IglooFTP or
NFTP), coming with a complete weird GUI (like kbear) or
they are quite buggy or with a lack of usability (like gftp
    and lots of other client).

FTPcupe is a very nice clone of the well known LeechFTP
for Windows and for me the only Linux FTP Client with good
features and an easy to use GUI.

From my point of view, still not perfect - but a least the
    best one right now.
