Jabber 1.x
by Hohlraum - Aug 1st 2000 14:05:25
The windows reference implementation is severly screwed up, guess we can
only hope that its is a client issue rather than jabber server issues.
Great idea though.

Umm.. there is no "reference implementation" of
any Jabber client. Jabber refers to the protocol
and the server. Everything else is third party.
BTW, what was the problem? The gateways to ICQ,
AIM, etc. have been a bit flaky lately, but they
are improving rapidly.

Debian Dependencies
by Eliot Landrum - May 2nd 2000 12:41:21
In case you missed it on http://gabber.sourceforge.net/download.php,
the Debian packages for gtkmm and gnomemm are available from my web site at
http://landrum.cx/~eliot/packages/gtkmm/.
You probably don't need the -dev packages, unless you plan on compiling
Gabber yourself.
libgnet1.0 packages can be apt-get'ed with the following line in
/etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://www.eecs.umich.edu/~dhelder/misc/debian unstable
main
