MlView is a tree-oriented XML editor for GNOME. It is written in C++ and is heavily based on gtkmm and the GNOME libraries. Its aim is to ease XML editing, with or without validation.

Changes: The code base was switched to C++ and gtkmm. Complete preferences support was added. Clipboard management was enhanced. The view management internals were reworked. Initial support for loadable modules was added.


Changes: A new search node UI and a new experimental source editing view were added. A node can be uncommented in tree view. The schema window was revamped. MlViewNodeEditor was switched to use glade. The tree view layout was changed. Recent files support was added. Window sizes and proportions are now persistent. The MIME system info at install was updated. The mlv binary was renamed to mlview. "Revert to save" support was added.


Changes: Desktop DnD support, undo/redo, key bindings, remote file loading, and better GNOME HIG conformance.

Changes: This release adds the usual bugfixes and minor feature enhancements.

First release (0.0.1.1) comments
This release of gnome mlview is the first useable one.
It lacks a lot of basic features but as i am
actively working on this project, i hope mlview
will catch on fast.
The major lacks include validation, undo,
"search" function and support of UTF-8.
Mlview is still useable to edit small xml documents
with support of namespace.
The next release should provide the search
functionality.
