Greenwich is a graphical whois client for GNOME. It is written in Perl and makes use of the GNOME bindings for Perl.

Changes: This is a maintenance release. It fixes a problem with the Fedora menu system and adds the whois server for .web.com domain names.


Changes: This release makes the previous development series (0.7.x) the new stable series. The main change is a trivial fix for a bug in the whois query command that caused an error for whois servers that require a \r\n at the end of the request line.


Changes: This release introduces support for Gtk+ 2.4.


Changes: greenwich2 is the new development branch of Greenwich. It is an almost complete rewrite of the old code base, with a much slicker and more responsive interface. The UI has been built using Glade, l10n is done using GNU gettext, and all configuration data are stored in gconf.
